|5 Places To Visit In Manchester

As a proud Mancunian i thought i was only right to share some of my favourite places to visit!

|Victoria Baths
I think this has to be my favourite building ever! As the name suggests it is an old swimming baths, i reopened fairly recently after a huge restoration project. There are guided tours available but you can also just wander round at your own pace! It has been used at a filming location for a lot of shows.

A hidden gem in Manchester i only recently came across it and it is absolutely amazing.  This Gothic library is an incredible visit if you are a lover of architecture.

This restaurant is the best i have ever been to and it has been my favourite for a good few years now! I always go for occasions. The decor is lavish but also modern, there are great original features as it used to be a bank. Even though is is extravagant the prices are very reasonable and i always recommend this place to anybody who asks!

|Ordsall Hall
Ordsall hall is a place that i have known about for years as i went on school trips there in primary school! It is a striking building in the middle of an estate, the contrast is fascinating.  The hall is free admission and is very fascinating to look around.

Coronation Street has to be one of the most iconic Manchester locations and i had to include! The Coronation Street tour ends at the end of the year so i would book now if you want to go! You get a tour of the street and also some of the interior sets as well as a collection of iconic items!

|Current Skincare Favourites

It has been a while since i posted about skincare so i thought i would do a round up of my current favourites!

|Johnson's Baby Oil
I don't know what i would do without this product! I have dry skin and this is the only product that gets rid of that especially on my legs. I apply this every day and could not live without it!!

|The Body Shop Cleansing Butter
A relatively new discovery of mine and let me just say that it is worth all the hype! It leaves my skin feeling so clean and soft. I will be repurchasing this as soon as i run out!

|Una Brennan Vitamin E Eye Cream
Eye cream is one product that i always change but i am currently using this one which i have been really liking as it's very hydrating.

|Centraben Lotion
This has been a godsend since Garnier Miceller water turned my skin horrendous, it caused a blotchy rash all over my face which was actually really painful! It calmed all the redness down and was the only cream that would get rid of it. It is extremely moisturising and the scent is fresh.

|Acnecide Cream
I will be writing a separate post on this gem as it has helped massively with my blemish scars.

Review| Rimmel Kate Nude Lipsticks

Rimmel Kate lipsticks as we all know are a blogger favourite especially No. 107 which is an amazing colour! So when they recently released a nude range i knew i had to try at least one of them, i picked shades 42 and 45 they do have a lighter shade No 40 but it matched my skin tone i i didn't want to have concealer lips!
The formula of the lipsticks is very creamy but does stay put! They are opaque in one application.

The lipsticks are £5.49 each but currently buy one get on half price in Boots!
I love these lipsticks and there is a shade to suit everybody, so if you would like a nude lipstick i would try one of these!

Review| Freedom Make Up Long Length Mascara

Freedom Makeup is a fairly new brand, that i bought some products from about 2 months ago now this is one of them and i have only just got round to using this one!

It is a fibre brush in a hourglass shape which you can't really tell from the picture! This mascara separates your lashes and does lengthen them, i do like the mascara but it's not my favourite but for only £2 you can't really argue. The formula is really watery so it would be best left to dry out little before use.

You can purchase here.

Review| Once the musical

Once is based on the Irish film of the same name which might i add is one of my favourite films!
I watched it in the Olympia Theatre in Dublin, the theatre is the most beautiful i have ever been in and it's tiny! All of the cast are amazing musicians and actors.

There is a bar on stage as the set is meant to be a bar, I thought this was a great touch as you get to go on stage!
I cannot recommend this show enough, i would go and see it when you have a chance as you will not be disappointed!
Here is the link for tickets and the run has now been extended till September.

|Dublin Zoo

I visited Dublin Zoo last week, i enjoyed it that mush i thought i would share my favorite picture and write a mini review! Prior to this i probably hadn't been to the zoo for about 10 years which is shocking!!
The zoo has such a huge range of animals as you would expect! Admission is only 16.80 which is around £11-12 i think that is inexpensive! The zoo is a perfect size not too large but also not too small!

I highly recommend a visit, as it's brilliant!

Review| MAC Collection

I have a small Mac Collection but i really love all the products so i had to share them!
